THE TREVEY CIRCLE

AMTSJ has been dazzling audiences ever since Margaret and Robert Trevey founded our organization in 1934. It was Margaret's love of opera that inspired her to gather fellow arts enthusiasts in the community to create the San Jose Light Opera Association. With Robert as the first President, the inaugural season opened with Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, and 70-plus years later, AMTSJ is the largest producing musical theatre company in the region, attended by over 135,000 patrons.

The Trevey Circle is a group of individual donors who contribute a minimum of $1,000 annually, enabling AMTSJ to live its mission as one of the oldest professional musical theatre organizations in America. Members receive all the benefits of our Circle of Friends in addition to:

  • 2 Guest Vouchers: Bring friends to a show with your complimentary tickets to any AMTSJ-subscription show.
  • Preferred Subscription Seating: Receive top priority for your subscription purchase or renewal along with requested upgrades or changes.
  • VIP Ticketing: Access to the best seats at AMTSJ and house seats on Broadway and across the country directly through our Development Department.
  • Board of Governors' Artist Dinners: Invitations to our dinners with the cast and creative team from your favorite musicals during the season.

THE TREVEY CIRCLE'S PRODUCERS

Do you want to be a Producer? AMTSJ's Producers may choose to be associated with a specific musical or education & outreach program throughout the creative process.

$10,000 and above

  • Attend Rehearsals: "Sit in" on the first rehearsal and design presentation of your show, with an open invitation to attend working rehearsals, the "sitzprobe", technical rehearsals and designer run-throughs.
  • Recognition at the Theatre: See your "name in lights" at the theatre and in the playbill.
  • Backstage Tour: After enjoying your show, go backstage with an in-depth tour of the set to see the workings of a musical from the cast and crew's perspective.
  • 8 Guest Vouchers: Bring family & friends to your show with your complimentary tickets.
